Human right activist, Femi Falana (SAN) has reacted to the plight of Joy Nunieh, the former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), after securities operatives besiged her home in an attempt to arrest her without a warrant.
The Rivers states governor, Wike had saved her and drove her off, from the scene.
Joy was expected to appear before the senate committee on a probe of mismanagement of funds allocated to the NDCC. She had accused Akpabio of embezzlement and sexually harassing her.
Femi Falana in a statement has called Joy a survivor. Few years back, she was in a terrible accident. The car plunged into a deep river and everyone died except her.
He warned those people attempting to kill her that they are fighting against God.
He quoted the Bible to saying, "Touch not my annoited and do my people no harm".
