In a rather tragic and sad note, a beautiful medical doctor known as Urenna Samuel Iroegbu, who just concluded her one year National youth service on the 16th of July 2020 has been reported dead.
The beautiful Imo State University graduate, died on her way home around Onne road in Port Harcourt Rivers States, after a truck rammed into her vehicle. Tears has since been rolling from her family members and friends, who could not just believe that their beloved Urenna is dead.
This is really tragic and I feel sad for her and her family members. Imagine after spending money and suffering through school for over 5 years Studying Medicine, plus all the strikes. Then going through 1 year NYSC and you don't eat the fruit of your labour. God forbid! How can this very promising young lady just die at the prime of her medical career?
Sincerely the rate at which young people are dying just at the start of their career, is really saddening. Just a few days ago, it was the first female Air Combatant Arotile that died, still in an accident and now Urenne a medical doctor, immediately after NYSC.
A lot of people while reacting to the death of Urenna, said it was not ordinary and was from evil people who could not see her succeed and live her dreams as a medical doctor (village people). In Africa, especially Nigeria, it is very unusual for young people to die without attributing it to supernatural causes. But then, that is true because the world itself is a supernatural place.
We all go to school and strive to better our lives just so that we can enjoy and live a happy and long life. Our parents also struggle and even borrow sometimes just so that they can see us through school, so that in future we can take care of them. But for some, evil happens and they don't eat the fruit of their labour.
This world is a very mysterious place and it is very important to hold unto God dearly, because we don't know when we would go.
Every evil force that will not allow us to eat the fruit of our labour, may they die in Jesus name.
May her soul rest in Peace.
