Making ends meet calls for daily struggle. Such was the life of this young, talented boy.
A friend wrote on his Facebook page
"...he use to be a great hustler who didn't depend on people nor rubbing nor begging.
...he did everything possible to make sure he has his own money.
A photographer, a driver, a marine captain.
Unfortunately, death caught him inside the ocean while toiling for his daily bread.
His friends, colleagues n associate will miss him.
He really tried as a guy.
R.I.P Capt. Dickson."
Born and brought up in the riverine, one could thought he had all the technical know how, but it didn't work out for this young man. He took to fishing so as to make a living out of it.
Tragedy falls on him in the high sea, when going for fishing.
We are calling on government at all levels to wake up and put some measures in place so as to tamed this unnecessary drowning. This boy could have become something tomorrow but his life has been cut short in the sea.
