This morning erupted to be a sad one for people in Zone 8 Junction Round about, Lokoja, kogi state as a bike man with two of his children was crushed by a Dangote Trailer with loads of cements in it for delivery.
It was made known that, they were on their way to the farm when the incident took place. What a loss for the family! May his soul rest in Peace.
Unfortunately, the rider who happens to be the father ended up losing his life with his skull gushed out but his two sons survived the accident with severe injuries. They are said to be in the hospital receiving treatment.
The accident came up as a result of the new road development u going which had resulted in the diversion of a two lane road to a one lane road.
Accident happens to be an unexpected event with negative consequences occurring without the intention of the one suffering the consequences.
An adage says, "whoever is dead is lost". They never planned it that way but it happened. May God have mercy on us all. May his soul rest in peace.
