Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria first female helicopter combat pilot, who lost her life in a driving accident in Kaduna. Tolulupe Arotile was killed by a reversing vehicle, driven by her old school mate, Nehemiah Adejoh, at the Naf base in Kaduna.She has been laid to rest, in the military cemetery in Abuja. Tolulope hail from Iffe in Ijamu local government area of Kogi State in Nigeria.
Attended a flying training school in Kaduna, and was also selected to train in South Africa, she got decorated, as the first Nigerian helicopter combat pilot, by the minister of women affairs and social development, Mrs Pauline Tallen and the chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshall Sadique, before her demise.
Before burying her, an ambulance belonging to the Nigerian Air Force, had brought her body to the military cemetery, in the presence of armed military men, also including the guards brigade who were visible, and conveyed her body, where she has been laid to rest in the military cemetery in Abuja.
