The unidentified officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, a Lagos State-owned agency under the Ministry of Transportation, has been sighted fixing a portion of the Ibeju Leki Road in Lagos State.
The video of the officer has been trending on Social Media handles, as he was busying fixing the road which could cause accident, compare to other LASTMA officer who were known for collecting N50 and N100 from motorists, as if they are working free for the Government.
However, what actually amused me is the person who recorded the video, as he was heard making jest of the officer unknown to the Officer that, he someone actually recording him while the person was driving, therefore, said, see LASTMA fixing road.
Nevertheless, let's be useful for once, at least, if 1 out of 10 Nigerians are this proactive, this country would be a better place for everyone to live. Although, when I first sighted the video, I thought the officer actually hiding N100 collected from commuters.
