The family of Mr and Mrs Akintunde Arotile are still in shock following the sad demise of the family’s shining star, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, who was announced dead on Tuesday by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

She was said to have died as a result of the head injury sustained after being involved in an accident.
According to a statement released by NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, “Flying Officer Arotile was inadvertently hit by the reversing vehicle of an excited former Air Force Secondary School classmate while trying to greet her.”

The family of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile is known to be a God fearing family.

Engr. Akintunde Arotile an indigene of Kogi State, though based in Kaduna with his family, always finds time to be there for his late daughter. No matter where the function is placed, Engr. Akintunde will be there to support Flying Officer Arotile.
Her family are always there to support her, morally or physically. Such a great family.

Though they are mourning right now, we must appreciate them for gifting Nigeria her first female helicopter pilot in history.
These pair worked so hard to ensure that the Flying Officer had the best of upbringing, education and opportunity to excel at her chosen career path.
They deserve to be happy, we just hope they will look back with no regret and be proud they raised a gallant soldier who gave her all to Nigeria.
The Arotile’s were blessed with other pretty girls as well, some of which are married with kids.
