Life is indeed very complicated and unfair. You can never really predict th future. Tragedy could be looming around the corner, sometimes I wonder what God's plan really is for is. Imagine having a child, you feed her, send her to the University, she studies Medicine for many years, attends a medical school, then NYSC and the future is bright. Your expectations as a parent is high. "My daughter will become prestigious soon", you beat your chest and feel proud. After her her NYSC passing out ceremony, she calls you, "Mummy, I am done finally! I am coming home tomorrow!!!" There's joy, there's happiness in her voice. You just can't wait to see her. She boards a taxi, tells you "Mummy, I am on my way...", but few hours later, you hear an unexpected story, a story that cripples you. This is an analogy of the story of Urey, a Nigerian doctor who just passed out from NYSC on Thursday, July 16th.
According to report, Urey who was a 2019 Batch B stream 2 corps member, was involved in a fatal accident at Onne, Rivers state, on her way returning back home from her place of service. Reports have it that a trailer lost control and crashed with the vehicle Urey was inside. Urey was a graduate of Imo state University, department of Optometry. Urey was said to have ‘suffered’ in medical school, but finally got out successfully. Friends and family members have taken to social media to share their pains and grief.
I am indeed very saddened by this terrible situation! Why would God allow such to happen? Some people would say that it's God's will. I really hope it is. I sincere condolences to the family. I can't imagine how painful Urey's passing would be to you, I just can't imagine... 😭😭
