Her mother went to prayer mountain not knowing Tolulope was in the mortuary, says father

The whole country and Nigerian Airforce continue to mourn the death of Tolulope Arotile, the first Nigeria female combat police who was involved in motor accident.

She was among the regular intake 65, she is a graduate from Nigeria defense acadamy and was commissioned as first female combat pilot in Nigeria Airforce on September 2019.


however she sustained head injuries during the fatal accident that happened at kaduna road and she lost her life during the accident. 


Her father is a popular engineer in the country. The name of her father is Akintude Arotile and her mother name is Mrs Arotile. Tolulope's father recently retired from the Transmission Company of Nigeria.


During an interview with Gbenga Odogun Tolulope's father reavealed that it was her dreams to be a pilot since she was a kid and she went further to pursue her dreams. 


Describing his last encounter with her, he said that he talked to her at 1pm on that day but by 5pm, he received a call Concerning his daughter's death, "one of her bosses who told me that she was in the mortuary" he said.


According to him, it was very painful for him to break the news to his wife as he had to drive to Lokoja from Abuja so that he can confront his wife and tell her because he can not break such sad news on phone.


He went further to disclosed that when he arrived at Lokoja his wife was already on Mountain praying and he had to wait till 8.30pm for her to be back. 


He said,


"She came back at 8.30pm and I told her what I heard, but had not confirmed"
