Education: she attended air Force primary school from 2000 - 2005 and Airforce secondary school Kaduna from 2006 - 2011 before she later gained admission into the Nigeria Defense Academy in Kaduna as a member of the 64 regular course on 22 September 2012.

She was commissioned into the Nigeria Airforce on 16 September 2017 as a member of the Nigeria Defense Academy regular course 64.

She held commercial pilot license and also underwent tactical flying training at Austa 109 Power attack Helicopter in Italy.

ABUJA, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria's first-ever female combat helicopter pilot Tolulope Arotile died on Tuesday as a result of head injuries sustained in a road traffic accident in the northwestern state of Kaduna, according to the Nigeria Air Force (NAF).

BREAKING: The first Nigeria Air Force female Helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile is dead. She died in a road accident at NAF base Kaduna after sustaining head injuries. She was instrumental in the fight against banditry and insurgency. She was only 23 years old.
