The Nigerian first ever female helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile, who died on 14 July 2020, as a result of an accident she encountered, is said to be laid to rest with full military honors at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Thursday, July 23.
This was made known via a statement that was released by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola.
The death of the late flying officer, Tolulope, is a shock to many Nigerians. Even though she was not popular until her death, the news about her demise went viral on different social median networks and millions of Nigerians felt grief about her sudden death, some Nigerians including celebrities were triggered with their out pouring of condolences from different parts of the Country to her parents who she suddenly left behind.
