Flying Officer Arotile died on July 14, 2020 at the age of 24, when she was inadvertently hit by the reversing vehicle of an excited former Air Force Secondary School classmate while trying to greet her.
NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, signed the statement on the events that resulted in the death of Ms Arotile and has revealed the face of the man that knock Tolulope Arotile down while only trying to pick her up as he reversed.
It was reported that the formal classmate was reversing the car when it hit Ms Arotile who fell and hit her head on the tarmac. He added that the deceased subsequently died while receiving treatment at the hospital where she was taken to.
Mr Nehemiah also graduated from Nigeria Air Force Academy and live around Afaka, Kaduna State.

The reports from the Nigerian Armed Forces have alleged that the circumstances surrounding Ms Tolulope Arotile's death were purely accidental, The report said it is important for all doubts to be cleared through an exhaustive inquest as to the cause of the first female pilot combatant.
