I spoke to My daughter by 1pm but by 5pm she was in the Mortuary, Tolulope's Father says.

Nigeria's first female combat helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile was pronounced dead in Tuesday, following a road accident at Nigeria's Air Force (NAF) base in Kaduna.

The late pilot died from head injuries sustained from the road accident, her death is a great loss to Nigerians who are still in mourning.

Ms Arotile who died at the age of 25 played a significant role in the fight against criminals in the North Central through combat missions she was assigned on.

In an interview with Gbenga Odogun, the deceased's father, Engineer Akintunde Arotile disclosed how her dream to become a combat pilot started started. According to him when Tolulope was still very young, "

When asked about his last encounter with her, Engineer Akintune explained that he had spoken with his daughter by 1pm after she arrived from an operation against the bandits in Katsina but by 5pm, news got to him that his daughter was in the mortuary.
