Damilola Adegboye who is the immediate elder sister to the late Tolulope who died on Tuesday 14th of July 2020, speaks up on her sisters death.
She said that the entire family is not convinced that she died on freak motor accident that the family will need a full scale investigation of the cause of her death.
The Nigeria Air force had released a press statement that Tolulope Arotile who was 25 years as at when she died, gave up to ghost when she was mistakenly hit by the reversing vehicle of an excited former Air Force secondary school classmate while trying to great her.
Adegboye who spoke with Punch said she was astonished on how a reversing vehicle could kill a person in such manner.
She said that "the entire family is not convinced that Tolu will die just like that in freak motor accident. I know that the military is well trained in the art of investigation, we want them to carry out thorough investigation that will convince us beyond reasonable doubt, that the accident that led to her death is real."
She said that in the day of the incident she and her was sleeping in the same room before she received a call.
"A call came into her phone which she picked, from the way they spoke, I knew the caller must be a senior officer calling her to come to the Air Force base. She felt reluctant I offer to drop her off.
One hour later, I read online that something serious has happened to her. I couldn't believe that somebody I just dropped off one hour ago is dead," she explained.
Also speaking that the mother of Tolulope Arotile go down Memory Lane about how she gave birth to her, describing her as a special child adding that fasting and prayer was her Hobby.
The death of the young promising Tolulope Arotile is disheartening.
I pray that God in his infinite mercy shall accept her gentle soul in his bosom.
