A birthday party which took place at a community in Houston, Texas, was abruptly brought to an end after the birthday celebrant accidentally killed himself with a gun he found lying carelessly in his house. The 3 year old boy celebrated is third birthday party on Saturday with friends and family.
However, as the ceremony continues, one of the attendants (probably an adult) unconsciously dropped a gun which fell from his pocket in an area where the young boy was. Since the boy was alone at the time, he went and lay hold on the gun. The adults present at the party were tending to other things when they heard a gunshot. The rushed down to the place where the shot took place only to find the boy lying unconsciously on the floor.
They quickly rushed him to the nearest fire station for treatment but was pronounced dead on getting there. The boy shot himself in his chest and did not survive the accident. The police were informed about the incident and they came in to investigate. They confirmed that the boy mistakenly shot himself after finding the gun lying carelessly in his house.
This incident happened on 23000 block, Owens Road in Porter, Houston Texas at around 4:15pm. The police Deputies expressed their condolence to the family of the boy who were celebrating the birthday of their child only for them to loose him on that very day.
