The Nigerian public has continued to condemn the accident which killed the promising Tolulope Arotile, the country's first female combat helicopter fighter who died days ago.
The authorities of the Nigerian Airforce has also cleared the air about the accident disclosing that a certain Nehemiah Adejoh was the driver of the unfortunate vehicle which claimed Arotile's life. It was further revealed that Nehemiah Adejoh was infact driving without a valid driver's license, an offence under Nigerian law.

According to the spokesman of the Nigerian Air Force, Ibikunle Daramola, Adejoh was driving two other friends who were all classmates of the late Tolulope Arotile.
He said, "Mr Nehemiah Adejoh, Mr Igbekele Folorunsho, and Mr Festus Gbayegun, drove past her in a Kia Sorento SUV, with Registration Number AZ 478 MKA. It is noteworthy that Messrs Adejoh, Folorunsho, and Gbayegun are all civilians who live outside NAF Base Kaduna, but were on their way to visit one Mrs Chioma Ugwu, wife of Squadron Leader Chukwuemeka Ugwu, who lives at Ekagbo Quarters on the Base."
“Upon recognizing their schoolmate, Arotile, after passing her, Mr Adejoh, who was driving, reversed the vehicle, ostensibly in an attempt to quickly meet up with the Deceased, who was walking in the opposite direction. In the process, the vehicle struck Flying Officer Arotile from the rear, knocking her down with significant force and causing her to hit her head on the pavement. The vehicle then ran over parts of her body as it veered off the road beyond the kerb and onto the pavement, causing her further injuries.”
Checks proved that Nehemiah Adejoh like the late Tolulope Arotile indeed attended the Airforce Secondary School, Kaduna where he finished in 2012 and then went on to study at the Kogi State University.
Further checks into the life of Adejoh especially via his social media lifestyle, showed that he is an expressive young man who bared his mind on issues.
On February 14, 2013, a year after leaving secondary school, Adejoh made a post about seeing his old classmates again insinuating that it would be shameful to see your classmate and hide.
According to him...
"D greatest sin on earth is 2 cee ur class mate nd hide... Facts(sic)".
Perhaps it is owning to this believe that made him want to acknowledge his old classmate, Tolulope after sighting her at the Airforce facility which led to the unfortunate accident.
The trio of Nehemiah Adejoh, Igbekele Folorunsho, and Festus Gbayegun are currently being held according to the Ariforce.
