Buhari sympathises with the family of Tolulope

Buhari sympathises with the family of Tolulope.

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari sympathises with the family of Tolulope Arotile the first female combat helicopter pilot who died on Tuesday 14 July 2020.

President Buhari disclosed this in a statement signed by Fem Adesina

Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity.

President Buhari prays that the Almighty God will receive the soul of the departed, and comfort the family she left behind.

However It was learnt that Tolulope was knocked down accidentally by an excited friend reversing vehicle inside the Kaduna Air Force Base

See people's reaction.

@mm: If not for the recklessness and irresponsible nature of your government not to have provided good passable and motorable roads I sincerely believe this sweet young Flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile, would still be alive today.

@foa: Seek knowledge. Read and listen to news. She died in the barrack accident.

@jeol: I believe he is also shocked as usual

If the government was responsible enough to provide good roads allover the country not the death traps we call roads she would be alive today.

@Deda: We want to know exactly what happened. Enough of the platitudes, how does such an accident occur on base?

@sadeeq: We commisrate with the family, friends of the late flying officer, indeed! She greatly missed.may God Almighty grant them fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.

@presh: I could see genuine pride on the face of Mr President in the photo. This one runs deep and painfully so too.

At such young age have achieved such great height.

This indeed is a national loss.

May her soul find peace with our maker.

RIP Hero!

@jek: In her honor, we should lower the flags and fly them at half- staff (half mast) at all military bases and Aso Rock. She deserves a national burial and a posthumous national honor. Please, tell the President to order accordingly.

@great; This time it is with "deep pain" and not shock. good to know that presido has stopped shocking on every bad news

@MSo: May Almighty God will receive the soul of the departed, and comfort the family she left behind.

@Bjyde: May I suggest that the President thru the Air Force immortalises her so her memory does not fade & serves as a means of encouragement to young people especially females who were inspired by her feat & wanted to join the Force.

@dade: Her family's healing will be facilitated by a thorough investigation into what happened to their child.

This will also help such things not to happen again.

Like how did this even happen for God's sake.

Nigerians are very upset about this and answers (truthful) are needed.

@Nigeria: She flew her quota of anti-banditry combat missions to ensure a safer, more secured Nigeria yet as a result of head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident at NAF Base Kaduna, she is dead. Who failed her? God or incompetent @MBuhari administration?

@kayode: Pain indeed! What a loss to our dear nation.

@Joseph : She made a huge impact on all of us, brilliant, charismatic and loved by many. We will surely missed Flying Officer Tolulope!

@lahmah:This is Nigeria where anyone who try to defend and protect the country will be silenced, the case of Muhammad Ali was same now Tolulope Arotile.

Kogites I called on you people to fight on behalf of your daughter, sister, and a great hero of your state.

I condole with the family.

@fabulous: So sad.

May her soul continue to rest in peace.

Let's pray for her soul to rest in peace
