It is rare at this 21st century to drop a banking job for farming talk more of a beautiful lady.
Many women of this era will never want their hands dirty not to talk of coming close to a goat. I smile at such ladies like Nkem Evarister Obiorah,a 30year old farmer who has made it as a farmer. Her friends fondly calls her a millionaire farmer as she has people serving under her leadership.
When she was about leaving her white collar job,the boss was surprised at her decision of becoming a farmer and wondered why a beautiful girl of her nature will leave such a job for goat farming. In her words she said..
“Many people, including my boss, thought I was crazy. They found it hard to understand how someone would quit an office job to go into goat farming” .
It takes courage,determination to come to this level of self actualization to leave a high paying job for a goat farming in Nigeria and considering the nature of the country she finds herself in.
How many ladies of nowadays will do that?
