ART IS LIFE:Check Out This Painting That Looks Like A Cancelled Work, But Worth $70.5 million.(PHOTOS)

Art is life. When we see people paint wonderful stuffs, its really a great sight. There are many paintings that are really worth alot and are only for the rich.

Paintings like the Mona Lisa which was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci is worth more than $800 million presently. The Mona Lisa was painted in such a way that the eyes of the Mona Lisa fall directly in the center of vision of the viewer, while the lips fall just under the periphery of one's vision.

I came across a painting by an artist named Cy Twombly, and the title of the painting is "Untitled (New York City), 1968"

The painting was just like a blackboard covered with white scribbles. I was still wondering what type of painting would just be so awkward and childish until i stumbled on how much it was sold in 2015.

The painting by Cy Twombly fetched a record of $70.5 million in an auction at Sotheby's New york. Why would a painting that looks like a kid learning how to write be bought at that high amount? Its so breathtaking.

It was also gathered that "The Untitled" was the top lot in a solid $295 million sale and also happened to be the most expensive item Sotheby’s sold that year.

Edwin Parker " Cy " Twombly Jr was born on the 25th of April 1928 and died on the 5th of July 2011. He was a sculptor, a painter and a photographer. He was an American.

He is married to Tatiana Franchetti.

He won many awards when he was alive.
