The Fastest Cars Of 2021

Hyper cars are defined as high-performance supercars. Supercars can be defined as high performance or luxury vehicles. What this simply means is that: hypercars are designed to turn everything we know about speed and performance on it's head.

In many cases, the goal is to bring technology usually reserved for high performance racecars to the masses...well, the VERY wealthy masses, but the point still stands.

Every year companies like: Koenigsegg, Bugatti and Hennessy churn out machines that aim to defy physics itself. Today, we will be covering the fastest cars of 2021.

Let's get into it:

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport - 268 Mph

Believe it or not, the lightning fast Bugatti Veyron turned sixteen years old in 2021, but it still holds up as one of the fastest cars ever built. The Super Sport variant is the most powerful model ever built with an engine that can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.6 seconds.

Hennessy Venom GT - 270 Mph

Made from modified Lotus Exige chassis. Capable of reaching 60 mph in three seconds, a top speed of 270.4 Mph is not surprising from this monstrous vehicle.

Koenigsegg Agera RS - 278 Mph

In November 2017, the Agera RS defeated Bugatti to become the fastest car in the world. It was a resounding victory too, Koenigsegg beat Bugatti's acceleration time to 249 mph by an entire six seconds. A landslide by hypercar standards.

Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ - 304 Mph

At the time of this car's creation, vehicles driving at over 300 miles per hour was unheard of. The Bugatti shattered the record handily and while it is no longer at the top of the list, this accolade will always be remembered.

Hennessy Venom F5 - 310 Mph

Named after the highest possible wind speed rating for tornadoes, the Venom F5 was designed with the motive of being the fastest road car on the planet and has received much hype from it's creators.

Bugatti Bolide - 310+ Mph

The Bolide already looks like a spaceship, but when you check the specifications you will find a very convincing pretender. It has a claimed top speed of over 310 miles per hour with an acceleration rate capable of taking it from 0 to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds.

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut - 330 Mph

Koenigsegg are back on the list with a different breed of monster this time: The Koenigsegg Jesko. Upgrading the Agera's engine and improving handling and interior specifications to create not just the ultimate racing experience but an outstanding luxury vehicle.

SSC Tuatara - 331 Mph

North American manufacturer Shelby Super Cars inc.'s challenger raises the ante on the Koenigsegg Jesko by a single mile. However, with acceleration figures like 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, it makes a strong case for it's own superiority.

Devel Sixteen - 347 Mph

Still under development, this car will be the machine to beat if all it's specifications match what we've been told. Less than five years after Bugatti raised the bar to 300 mph, the Devel Sixteen takes the competition to the doorsteps of 350 at a staggering 347 miles per hour.

Those are the world's fastest road legal cars as of September 2021, which one is your favourite?
