Late Isa Funtua is no stranger to the business world, having cut his teeth in several industries he chose to pitch one of his business tents in the construction industry.
Late Mallam Isa Funtua.
He founded the Bulet International Construction company after his stint with the textile industry and when he had reached an acceptable level of influence amongst the ranks of top Northern elites.
At the time when FCT was being built under the Babangida led adminstration, a lot of projects were being awarded to construction companies, both indigenous and foreign.
Bulet Construction Company was then awarded with the contract to build the Office of the Head of Civil Service.
The front view of the Head of Civil Service building, Abuja.
Located in the heart of Abuja and some meters away from the Eagle Square, the building houses the Head of Civil Service, Perm Secs and a host of other related and important government offices.
Delivering that job earned Mallam Isa Funtua 's construction company a house hold name in Abuja and beyond.
My personal visit to the building in 2015, can help attest to the fact that the edifice was properly constructed and was free from engineering defects.
The company has since gone on to construct some other government building in around Abuja, although proper information of such buildings are currently unavailable.
Note:- The Head of Civil Service is responsible for the leadership, management, and capacity development for the civil service. It is the engine for the adminstration and implementation of FGs policies and programs.
