Relate with people with vibrant ideas and have good human relations. You can meet these people by going to business gathering or joining online forums, among other places.

4. Know Your Prospect

A big mistake young people going into business usually make, is failing to have a clear picture of who their customer is. 

Before starting out, know the exact type of people who will be needing your products or services. Proceed further, know places they visit and how you can find them, know how you can make them buy from you. 

While making research about your ideal customer, take in consideration, the fact that no one likes to be sold to.

If you take time to think things through, you will have an idea, if the business will be a profitable one or not.

5. Have a Business Plan

Having a plan for your business (Business Plan) can never be overemphasized. It is the foundation, whereby every other things is built on.
