First bank Nigeria, is one of Nigeria's first generation bank as it was established since 1894.
As Nigeria and Africa's premiere bank, it has over 17 million customers with over 7,000 staff. Apart from this, it is the biggest bank in Nigeria per deposits and gross earnings.
It has been one of the best bank promoting digital economy in Nigeria and Africa, as it has issued over 10 million digital cards.
Between 2011-2016, first bank was named the "Most valuable Bank Brand" in Nigeria.
It has in many Africa countries and outside the continent.
First bank in keeping to her promise, in promoting banker-customer's relationship, and being one of the most valuable bank in Nigeria and Africa, have now provided a new avenue for customers of the bank, to now request or renew their debit cards on Saturdays.
The bank informed her customers of the new development in a message which stated thus;
"We know you are busy during the week, that is why you can now request or renew your debit cards on Saturdays."
With this new development, first bank customers can now walk into selected branches on Saturdays, to obtain their debit cards.
It should however be noted that, the bank have selected some branches within the federation for the Saturdays operation.
