Dangote's Net Worth Is 23% Of Nigeria Foreign Reserve

Alhaji Aliko Dangote is a blessed man and it is hard to believe that a man can have a networth that is 23% of Nigeria's external reserve.

First, let me explain the term "Foreign external reserve".

Foreign external reserves are financial assets or foreign currencies held by a country's central bank in a foreign dominated account. Foreign external reserves can also be referred to as foreign currency reserve or foreign exchange reserve.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote (born April 10,1957) to a wealthy Hausa Muslim family, he his the great grandson of Alhaji Al-Hassan Dantata, the richest west African at the time of his death in 1955.

Dangote is the richest man in Africa for almost a decade, he has been the richest man in Africa for 9 consecutive years.

In Africa 2014, Dangote was worth $25 billion and Forbes listed him as the 30th richest man in the world.

Dangote networth as of May,2020 is $8.3 billion and he his the wealthiest black man alive. 

Nigeria external reserves as of June,2020 is $36.3 billion, which makes Dangote networth 23% of the country's external reserve.

Dangote is man of great ambition and vision, he has made it clear that he his hoping to become the richest man in the world.
