Successful people pressed, challenged their selves, they do not run away from challenges instead they face it. They do what others find it hard to do or what they themselves find challenging, they go beyond their boundaries to make things happen, nothing is a challenge to them.

Daniel 9:2
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
This is at the top of the list for successful people, it simply means they read. They love reading and improving on their knowledge, they learn unlearn and relearn, they simply love learning new things and whether or not there's someone to tach them, they teach themselves. Someone who is successful or who wants to be successful avails his/herself to knowledge.
3. They Set Goals And Make Plan To Achieve Them:

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Successful people are goal setters and once they set goals, they're determined to achieve it, they plan towards it and pray towards it. They focus on it and their sole aim is to achieve their set goal.

And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
Instead of wallowing on their mistakes and living in regret, they instead learn from it, they sit down and think what what went wrong and see how to avoid it in the future. They're Humble : Humility is one attribute of successful people, you can hardly find a proud successful man/woman, their lifestyle emanates humility.

Daniel 1:20
And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
You can literally see the poise in whatever they do, in the way they talk, the way they walk and in everything they do.
7. They Make Others Feel Good:
Acts 16:25
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
They radiate goodness and people love being around them because they're good, they're not toxic people who make others feel bad, goodness is who they are.
8. They're smart About Money:
Ecclesiastes 7:12
For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
Successful people do not spend unnecessarily as a matter of fact they advice others on how to carefully spend money.
9. They Take Care Of Their selves:
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
They don't wait for people to do that for them, they're aware that they are responsible for themselves and so they take responsibility and do what's right for them.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Although others might mistake this for pride, I see no reason why one should not celebrate ones achievement, it is highly appropriate to celebrate your achievements and that is what successful people do.
11. They Know How To Handle Stress:
2 Corinthians 11:29
Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
Hebrews 11:34
Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
They don't allow stress overwhelm them, they handle it wisely.
12. They Keep The Right Company:
Proverbs 13:20
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Thus a very crucial attribute of successful people, they choose their company wisely. They know that "bad company corrupt good manners" and so they're careful.
