In the world ra, 73 countries were ranked globally as the best countries in the world. Amongst the 73 countries, only 6 African countries were ranked amongst the best countries in the world.


Here are the overall best countries in Africa;

1. Egypt(World Ranking - 36th):

As of 2020, Egypt currently ranks as the overall best country in Africa and the 36th in the world.

Egypt ranks 52nd globally when it comes to entrepreneurship, 50th when it comes to quality of life, 25th when it comes to power, and 69th when it comes to openness to business.


2. South Africa(World Ranking - 39th):

South Africa is arguably the most beautiful country in Africa.

Located in the southernmost part of Africa, South Africa has a population of about 58.7 million people and a landmass of 1,221,037km².

South Africa occupies the 35th position globally when it comes to entrepreneurship, 51st when it comes to openness to business, 32nd when it comes to power, and 56th when it comes to overall quality of life.


3. Morocco(World Ranking - 40th):

Morocco, officially the kingdom of Morocco, is a country located in the Maghreb region of North Africa.

Morocco has a landmass of 710,850km² and a population of over 36 million people.

Morocco ranks 58th globally when it comes to entrepreneurship, 50th when it comes to quality of life, 57th when it comes to power, and 40th when it comes to openness to business.


4. Kenya(World Ranking - 53rd):

Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in eastern Africa, with a population of over 47.6 million people.

Ghana ranks 65th globally when it comes to overall quality of life, 55th when it comes to power, 38th when it comes to openness to business, and 68th when it comes to entrepreneurship.


6. Tunisia(World Ranking - 69th):

Tunisia is a country in the Maghreb region of North Africa, with a population of about 11.7 million people and a landmass of 163,610km².

Tunisia ranks 70th in the world when it comes to entrepreneurship, 61st when it comes to quality of life, 61st when it comes to power, and 50th when it comes to openness to business.
