Latest ways to get your money back if you have been scammed

The world and society at large has turned to a hunting zone.

Technology is a Blessing, internet is good, but through these platforms so many people have become prey and victims of circumstances.

People have been rid of their money by other individuals.

So many people have complained of social media scammers who uses social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and watsapp to came their victims.

In this article, I will share to you screenshot of a conversation between a victim and a scammer which happened this year. And also ways you can get your money back after been scammed.

Note: Please don't be a victim!

The Goodnews is, if you are already a victim you can actually get your money back. Its going to take some process/procedures, but if you follow it, you will smile at the end.

There are things you need to do

1: Screenshot all previous chat you had with the scammer across all messaging app ( IG, watsapp or Facebook)

2: Write out the name and account number of the scammer

3: Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you've made the payment to the scammer(via mobile app or text)

4: Copy out the transaction ID

5: Go to any branch of the bank the scammer banks with and ask to see the customer service in charge of fraud.

Note: if you can, print out all the chats with the scammer and submit it

6: Send a mail “ SCAMMER's BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK

[email protected]

This will hasten the bank to take it up fast.


1: The culprit/ suspects account will be placed on hold.

2: His /her Bvn will be blocked permanently

3: No account will ever be opened in that name again

4: He/she will not be able to transact business in that name until a clarification from the bank

Meaning, he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police, and the suspect when proven quilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to transfer your money back.

This happened January this year and after that event the victim to save the person's number as “scammer” so she will not be a victim again.
