Recall that the Nigeria government suspended both local and International flight in effort to curb the ravaging Corona virus. The United Kingdom also suspended visa application in line with the above. Following the gradual easing of lockdown especially in domestic flight operation, Nigerians anticipate when the international flight operation will resume.
With respect to the above, The British High Commissioner in Nigeria has announced plans to resume visa application in the country. The Commission will soon be receiving visa application from interested Nigerians who are interested in traveling to the United Kingdom. The High Commission in a tweets said Visa Application Centers will be open in Abuja, Ikeja and Victoria Island. The British Commissioner also disclose that testing will commence for the International language Testing System.
Applicants must have an appointment before they visit any VAC( Visa Application Center). Also, The Commission also disclose that booking table has been opened for applicants to submit new Visa. Those that have submitted applications and are waiting a decision from UK Visas and Immigration will be contacted through their staff soon. The Commission also wishes to inform applicants duration of documents for those who opted for courier service would take longer than expected due to the mitigating effect of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
