"All Applicants Should Note That N-Power Is Not A Bread And Butter Affair"

"All Applicants Should Note That N-Power Is Not A Bread And Butter Affair"

For more than 3weeks now, the registration of Batch C applicants on the Federal Government N-Power program has been on course. The N-Power portal so far has notably recorded nearly 4million applications, and still counting.

After a successful completion of the previous batch of the empowerment scheme, more than 100,000 applicants have been able to embark on applying the skills they have acquired to independently earn a living.

Unfortunately enough, It is rather appalling that, so many applicants have thought of N-Power as a platform to take a portion of the national cake, without making any useful contributions to the growth and prosperity of the nation regarding the category of the programme they applied for.

Therefore, it is pertinent to note that, "To whom much is given, much is expected".

There ought to be a mental preparedness on the part of applicants to make their individual contributions to the success of the N-Power programme.

Practically speaking, many have rumoured on the 'laissez-faire' attitude they intend to put up as they get employed to serve the nation under the umbrella of N-Power.

This implies that people expect to be paid salaries from the N-Power programme even if they do not effectively work based on the terms and conditions of the empowerment scheme.

It is worthy of note that in as much as the programme is aimed at minimizing poverty and in turn boost the nation's economy, improve livelihood, everyone has a role to play in achieving the set goals.

What is paramount in this Federal Government empowerment programme is the acquisition of skills and the rightful application of acquired skills even after the tenure of the programme expires.

Here are the spanning fields of endeavour in pictures for applicants to explore

Another important thing to note is the disclaimer of the N-Power recruitment policy which states that picking a particular programme is not a guarantee that you will be selected for it.

This is not meant to scare applicants or to make them dwell in uncertainty, rather it is aimed at keeping them abreast with the possible outcome of the N-Power recruitment process.

In essence, it is possible to apply for a certain category and not be selected for the exact one you applied for. Again, it is also possible not to be called up for the programme at all, after submitting application.

This could be due to possible discrepancies obtained in the details of the application submitted. Otherwise, it could be that the total number of applications received have reached the limit of allowed intake. Hence, there is need to register on time.

In any case, the scheme is expected to be able to accommodate up to 500,000 applicants.

What will give you a vantage position to get recruited is simply strict adherence to the given application procedures and possessing the stipulated requirements for a valid registration.

Good luck!
