How ‘Linda Ikeji’ Did Odd Jobs To Become a Successful Blogger Today

Linda Ikeji is a Nigerian blogger whose success in the industry cannot be denied. She has gone beyond being a Nigerian blogger as her name is known throughout African countries and the rest of the world. But before her success, Linda Ikeji passed through some challenges which I will narrate in this article.

Linda Ikeji was the second child of her parents who lived in Nkwerre Local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria. Her challenges began when she was an undergraduate at the University of Lagos. She had wanted to study Mass Communications but was given English Language which she accepted.

The inability of her family to assist her financially pushed the young girl to look for ways to survive despite being a student at that time. Linda Ikeji did ushering jobs at public events but she stopped after a while.

Linda then went into modeling since she wasn't getting much success from the ushering jobs. Again, Linda's modeling career went off and she focused on how to own a modeling agency of her own with the name Black Dove Communications.

Young Linda Ikeji later worked as a bartender where she sold beers to make a living. She would stand from 2 pm to 10 pm at the Sheraton Hotel to get paid from the commission gotten from the beer sales.

However, the best time of her life began when she started her blogging career in 2006, then the internet was still a strange platform to the general public. The determined young lady would buy time at the Cyber Cafe to write some personal stories which were loved by her readers.

With time, she added Celebrity gist, trendy news to the blog. Linda was using a Blogspot domain (Lindaikejis.blogspot.com) before she moved it to a standard one we know today. Now, the lady is enjoying her years of dedication and hard work which should serve as motivation to upcoming generations who desire for success.
