There is no doubt that most Nigerians see salary earners as rich people regardless of how much they earn.
A tweeter user with the name Ijoba lamented on how salary earners are seen in Nigeria, saying that people should stop begging them for money because they are the poorest people and further stating that their expenses are always bigger than their income. See the tweet below.

Reacting to the tweet, some people believe the reason it is so is because of the corporate dressing salary earners are always putting on, while some believe it depends on the amount you earn. See some of the responds below.



One user, Nurse Baker thinks is because people see salary earners with cars bought on loan, and just assume they are rich.
Looking at the above comments, it can easily be concluded that most salary earners have higher expenses than what they are actually earning.
