The rate of competition in our society today has increased greatly. A lot of people are living luxurious lives just to fit into a certain category.
Most of them rely on monthly income yet they spend like those who rely on profit. When a person begins to spend more than he earns, he or she will end up regretting it.
Reno Omokri made a tweet on this earlier, he asked how can a person rely on salary yet compete with someone who relies on profits.
According to him, you are squandering your future trying to look as rich as them.
In his words;
"How can you rely on salary, yet compete with someone who relies on profits? They buy designers, you buy too. They buy an iphone 12, you buy too. While they spend disposable income, you are squandering your future trying to look as rich as them! No be juju be that?"
Reno Omokri is trying to advise those who are living fake lives trying to impress others. You don't have to look or be like anyone. The best thing to do is to be yourself and manage things the way they are.
