A consultant anasthesit and former zonal medical director, central hospital warri, Delta State, Toju Eransanara is dead .
He was among those on the forefront of fighting the covid-19 in the state and he the process contacted the virus .
He was reported to have died of complications of covid-19 after testing positive.
The doctor had fallen sick last week and was taken to asaba where he was place on life support and had died after his condition worsened.
The rampant rate of death among doctors in the country is now a scare as no cure has been discoverd for the virus, the state governor has urged all citizens to always move about with face masks, avoid crowded places as the number of cases in the state keep rising.
The governor who tested negative on Tuesday has-been appealing to his citizens to maintain the social distancing.
As it stands, if the cases keep surging, the government may be forced to implement another lockdown.
