90 year old Margaret Keenan becomes the first person to receive the pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in UK

As part of the immunization program going on in the United State, A 90 years old woman by the name Margaret Keenan has become the first person to take the pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The UK has become the first country in the world to administer the Pfizer vaccine

The old woman who will be turning 91 next week got the vaccine today at exactly 6:31 GMT. This is the first of all the 800,000 pfizer vaccines that will be administered to people within the coming weeks. 4 million of this vaccines is still been expected to be available.

In her words she said the vaccine is the best birthday gift ever. The vaccine was administered by Matron May Parson of the Coventry University Hospital.

In her world Mrs. Margaret said,"I feel so privileged to be the first person vaccinated against Covid-19, it's the best early birthday present I could wish for because it means I can finally look forward to spending time with my family and friends in the new year after being on my own for most of the year."

She further added that, "I can't thank May and the NHS staff enough who have looked after me tremendously, and my advice to anyone offered the vaccine is to take it - if I can have it at 90 then you can have it too."
