Covid19: shut down in plateau as cases hits 603, health workers tested positive to covid19
Plateau state government through the state Commissioners of Health, Dr Nimkong Lar, confirmed the shutdown of Langtang North General Hospital hospital as a results of health workers tested positive to covid19.
The state which recorded 8 new cases of the pandemic now have a totaling number of 603 confirmed cases of the pandemic, 323 being active cases with 264 patients recovered and discharged while 16 death have recorded in plateau state so far.
The state had also confirmed the recovery of Mr. Noel the chief of staff which was tested positive to the virus.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had announced 600 new cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria, totaling the number of infections in the country to 35,454.
The 600 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos(129), FCT(118), Oyo(87), Kano(55), Benue(42), Enugu(35), Kwara(28), Imo(16), Ogun(13), Kaduna(12), Ondo(12), Delta(11), Edo(11), Plateau(8), Nasarawa(6), Ekiti(6), Niger(6), Borno(4), Abia(4), Gombe(3)
Till date, 35454 cases have been confirmed, 14633 cases have been discharged and 772 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
