The Federal government has decided to set up new protocols to improve the level of compliance of the earlier stated protocols as schools resume its academic activities.
July 1st, 2020 is the announced date for resumption of academic activities in the country, but because of the level of compliance by some schools caused delay.
The Federal government is planning on setting up a comitee that will monitor the implementation of these protocols in across the state and will punish any institution or school that fails to comply.
These protocols are to enforce implementation of the COVID-19 protocols, and schools are advised to obey this protocols. They include Setting of Hand washing points at various major points in the school premises, provision of Hand sanitizers for students.
Others include reduction of the number of pupils to a compatible number.
Federal government has issued a warning to school owners that failure to obey these protocols will lead to suspension of academic activities in the school for a period of time.
The committee that will be set up for the implementation of these protocols will report its daily supervision to the government.
