This is the highest number of new cases that Osun state would be recording in a day and it has now taken the total number of cases in the state to 311.
Lagos state may not be surprised by the number announced today, has it has had days when the number was more than that.
These daily high numbers show that the nation is indeed in the midst of a global pandemic that could result in national unrest if immediate actions are not taken.
NCDC has been unable to curb or reduce the spread of the virus because people have failed to follow all the guidelines given to them before the lockdown was eased. It seems the government would need to fall back to their earlier decision and announce a new total lockdown.
