All you need is oats and water, and a blender plus something to strain the mixture with, ideally a muslin cloth.
Sharing the vid on her channel, Georgia said: “I’m going to show you guys how to make it from scratch using two ingredients and it’s way better.
“Add 75g of oats to a blender, add one litre of fresh water.
“Now I'm just adding two pitted dates for sweetness but you can add honey if you want.
“Now you just want to blend it for 30 to 45 seconds.
“Now you want to strain the milk through a muslin cloth.
“Once you’ve strained your oat milk you want to put it in a nice jar like this.”
She showed off a glass bottle, but you can repurpose any container as long as you give it a wash first.
While Georgia advised people can add any sweet ingredient to boost the flavour, the milk will turn out the same with just oats.
But if you don’t have any to hand, or don’t like the taste of oats, you can use nuts as a substitute.
Georgia shared another clip on YouTube detailing how to make almond milk using 150g of the nuts, which need to be soaked in water overnight.
The remaining process is exactly the same, as after they’ve soaked simply add them to a blender with a litre of water, and strain the mixture into a bottle.
If you wanted to mix things up even further, she said you can add cinnamon or even chocolate powder to make a tasty drink on its own.
Meanwhile here's how to make your own yeast at home if you want to bake some bread.
