FG reveals when the official date for reopening of schools will be announced.

After several months of schools closure and staying at home due to the covid-19 pandemic, the federal government has finally disclosed when the official date for the reopening of schools nationwide will be announced, it can be recalled that schools has been closed from March 2020.
On Friday, July 17, 2020, the ministry of education said an official date for the safe reopening of schools will be announced once the safe guidelines for safe resumption are put in place. According to the minister of state for education, Emeka Nwajiuba, he stated that school owners are expected to undertake self-assessment of the provided guidelines for the reopening and send reports back to the state ministries of education on or before July 29th, 2020.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Lagos state chapter, has said it is against the reopening of schools due to the rising cases of COVID-19 Cases in the State. What your take on this? Should schools be re-opened now or not.

safety first should be the watch word , why the hurry to reopen school when the number of cases keep raising with the passing of each day. The advanced world still did not consider reopening school for now as a priority. let's flatten the curve first before we talk of reopening.
