35 hears old Jessica Rowlett nearly died with the pregnancy of her son Rowdy after being diagnosed of Corona virus in the 31st week of her pregnancy. She went back to her job as a dietician and within few days, the symptoms began to rise in her system.
Jessica was admitted into a hospital following her diagnosis and within few weeks, she did not get better and her condition continued to deteriorate.
On the 33rd week of her pregnancy, Jessica was heavily sedated on a ventilator when she gave birth to her son through an emergency cesarean section.
Rowdy, was tested by the doctors after birth and he was negative to the disease. He was taken to another care facility for better protections.
Jessica who is now a mother of two never got a chance to meet her son until few weeks later after she recovered for the corona virus. Her husband was the one who was taking care of their son while at the facility as she recovered.
Although she has been discharge with her son to her home where she lives with her husband and daughter, she has described the feelings as abnormal.
Jessica wishes she had met her son the first moments he came out but it was not possible and now she's trying so hard to reconnect again.
