This is coming barely few months after the great changes witness in the General Hospital, Calabar.
It is evident that amidst the pandemic, thorough renovations has been done in General Hospital, Ugep.
Also, the hospital has been equipped with state of the arts medical equipment.
With this, it is safe to say that the people of Ugep and its environs have not been left out in the scheme of things under the leadership of the honourable commissioner for health, Dr. Betta Edu.
In an interview via telephone with the honourable commissioner for health, she discloses that if not for the Covid-19 lock down, several other General Hospitals in the state would have been renovated as well.
She further revealed that the Governor has charged her to do the needful to ensure that Cross Riverians get proper health care in good condition and that very soon other General Hospital will be renovated.
