Younger People Aged 20 to 40 are the Ones Driving Transmission of Coronavirus - Chikwe Ihekweazu

The Director General Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) Mr Chikwe Ihekweazu, have stated that younger People between 20 to 40 years of age are the ones that are driving the transmission of the Deadly Coronavirus, while the elderly people are suffering most from the virus.

He further stated that 3 out of 5 of all the people that have died from Coronavirus are 50 years and above.

He made the statement through the official Twitter page of the Covid-19 Presidential Task Force.

He wrote:

Director General NCDC: Younger people, aged 20 to 40, are the ones driving transmission of the Coronavirus, but those bearing the brunt are 50 and above. 3 out of 5 of all who die from Covid-19 are 50 and above. PTFCOVID19

I think this is more reason why Schools should remain closed for the main time, because Nigerian students are very stubborn when it comes to matters like this.
