This article is about the latest on CIVID-19 in Nigeria, but much attention will be focused on Rivers State.
The latest update on COVID-19 in Rivers State shows that the state still retained its position at number 5 on the country's COVID-19 table released by the federal health ministry agency; the Nigeria Centre for disease control (NCDC).
The recently recorded figures brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 1,427 cases, meanwhile a remarkable recovery rate has been recorded so far, out of the total number of confirmed cases in the state, 952 have recovered and have been discharged.
However, 425 cases are yet to recover as they are still fighting for their lives in the treatment and isolation centres. Sadly, the state has lost 47 persons so far as a result of COVID-19 complications.

Note; This report was released by the Nigeria Centre for disease control (NCDC), the only right source on COVID-19 in the country. Discard any information you get elsewhere. Any information about COVID-19 you get that is not sourced from the NCDC, sorry to say, it is FALSE. But don't worry, mine is gotten from the NCDC's page.
COVID-19 is real and lives with us, it pains me to hear some persons argue blindly that there's no such thing in Rivers State or in Nigeria. Take responsibility and stay safe. Please drop your comment below and share this information to others.
