Reactions as Bishop Oyedepo Says Not Paying of Tithe Put One Under Financial Curse

One of the most controversial topics/teaching in the Bible is the issue of tithe. This particular topic has pitched some men of God especially, the propserity preachers, against the "free thinkers" and some Christians alike.

One of the men of God seriously under attacks as a result of tithe and tithing preaching in Nigeria is nobody but Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a, Winners Chapel. The highly placed man of God has been under serious critcism from the general public, for his stand on the issue of tithe and offering. One of such critics is no one but, popular OAP, Daddy Freeze.

Yesterday, the Bishop through his ministry (David Oyedepo Ministry) twitter handle says that, Tithing is a covenantial obligation that believers can not escpaed. He went further to say that, it is not possible for one to prosper without tithing and that not paying tithe, put one under a financial curse.

This statement did not sit well with Nigerians as they come under the tweet to accused the man of God of missing the tithe and offering as a result of worship place closure due to the COvid-19 pandemic. Below are some of the reactions from twitter users;
