
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) released a total of 600 new cases of COVID-19 which has now taken the total number of infected cases in the country to 35,454.
However, Nigeria has been hit with yet another bad news as one of its States, Oyo State recorded a total of 87 new cases hereby taking the total of infected cases in the state to 2076.

According to the Governor, Seyi Makinde, the 87 new cases were found in the following Local Government Areas: Lagelu (11), Ibadan N (9), Ibadan SW (8), Oorelope (8), Ido (7), Ogbomosho N (7), Egbeda (5), Oyo E (4), Ibadan NW (4), Oluyole (4), Ogbomosho S (4), Oyo W (3), Atiba (3), Akinyele (2), Ogo Oluwa (2), Afijio (2), Ibarapa C (2), Ibadan NE (1) & Iseyin (1) LGAs.
Governor Seyi Makinde also disclosed that if anyone have COVID-19 symptoms like cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath, they can call the emergency operations centre on 08095394000 , 08095863000 , 08078288999 , 08078288800 or visit a community-based testing centre in the state.
