Breaking: NCDC announced 653 new cases of coronavirus as the total number of cases rise to 36,107

The cases of coronavirus have now become daily news as the confirmed cases spike worldwide including our country.

The key health workers are unrest in finding a cure to the virus in order to eradicate it.

The coronavirus which was discovered in Wuhan, China has spread more than 200 territories and countries of the world, the has not stopped from spreading around as confirmed cases are been recorded every day.

Though the recovery rate is also increasing on a daily basis, yet people are losing their lives every day to the deadly virus.

The end of the deadly virus is unpredictable by medical experts, as it has now become deadlier than before.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has made the announcement of another 653 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, the announcement was made on their twitter account on Saturday night as the total number of infected persons hit 36,107 as of July 18, 2020.

The Centre also revealed that the new confirmed cases were recorded in 28 states including FCT which were reported as follows;

115 cases in Lagos, 85 cases in Kwara, 80 cases in Enugu, 78 cases in FCT, 36 cases in Rivers, 35 cases in Ondo, 30 cases in Oyo, 28 cases in Katsina, 19 cases each in Kaduna, and Abia, 18 cases in Nasarawa, 17 cases in Plateau, 16 cases in Imo, 9 cases each in Ogun, Ebony, Benue and Kano, 8 cases in Delta, 7 cases in Bauchi, 6 cases in Ekiti, 4 cases each in Gombe, Bayelsa, Adamawa, and Osun, 1 case each in Cross River, Yobe, Born, and Zamfara state.

The Center announced 335 fully recovered patients who have been treated and tested negative to the virus across the isolation center in Nigeria as the total number of recovered patients hit 14,938.

They also gave a report of 6 new deaths from complications of coronavirus on Saturday as the total fatalities recorded Nigeria increased to 778.
