Yesterday Nigeria Recorded 643 New Cases Of Coronavirus which took the total number of Cases to 34,259. Eailer in March, the Fedral Government Ordered the closure of all acedemic activities in the country as a way of curtailing the deadly virus.
The WAEC Examinations across the country was also suspended by the Government Yesterday, The Minister of state for education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba insisted that it is not yet safe for the Reopening of Schools and the Fedral Government have not yet given the green light for the safe reopening.
He also revealed that WAEC are in talks with other countries about shifting the examinations to a later date, Some Reports emerged from some social media platforms that some schools are planing on writing the WAEC Examinations, Please take note those news are fake news and the Government are yet to give the greenlight for the commencement of the examinations.
The Fedral Government are working on the safe reopening of schools and it's still risky due to the rapid number of Cases.
As the Fedral Government are making efforts on the safe reopening, Students can engage themselves in Online learning as a way not to be idle. Also it will be great if the Government can support teachers in the country with monthly allowances as a way of Supporting them during this crisis.
