Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has declared that his family was not paid to test positive for Covid-19.

Okowa who described the rumour as ridiculous and unimaginable said the best way to avoid the disease was for everybody to accept its reality and abide by the prescribed protocols.

While describing his involvement in Covid-19 yesterday at a family thanksgiving in the Government House Chapel, Asaba, Okowa said multiple individuals from his family had gotten the infection yet God's Mercy oversaw them.
