Nigerians Comment on BBC Africa Interview on Coronavirus (Video)

Cases of coronavirus have been rising very much in Africa. I spotted a video from The BBC news today which was about the research that they have been doing about the deadly pandemic in Nigeria. In the video, a coronavirus patient was interviewed and he shared a very sad story of the pain he has been going through, and yet some people in Nigeria still do not believe coronavirus exists in Africa.

"He is one of the severe ones that we are paying very, very close attention to him," one of the health frontlines who is helping in the fight of the coronavirus said.

In the video, BBC Africa interviewed the patient and asked him how he is feeling, and this was what he said:

"I dont have strength, I was good as dead I thought it was all over" the patient disclosed.

But on the streets, outside the hospital. Some people dont believe this pandemic is real. They interviewed some of the street people, asked them what they think about the virus and it seems most of them dont believe coronavirus is in Africa.

BBC extended their interviews to the street and these are some of the comments responses gotten from the citizens:

"Coronavirus is in the Abroad, not here" a man from the in the street said.

Another said:

"There are lying, I have never seen someone who has coronavirus in Nigeria."_another youth from Nigeria said. The Full comments of the individuals are seen here

On the streets, outside the hospital, some Nigerian people dont believe this pandemic is real. They interviewed some of the street people, asked them what they think about the virus and it seems most of them dont believe coronavirus is in Africa.

Nigerian does not really believe coronavirus exist because they have never seen with their own eyes, a single person who has been reported to have a coronavirus.

According to The BBC News Africa, bustling and vibrant states that, over 20 million peoples have homes in Lagos, Nigeria. It has since become the epicenter of the Nigerian's coronavirus battle.

There have been so many restrictions and measures putting in place to help fight the pandemic decease but most Nigerians are not following the measures put in place because they think the virus is only in Abroad.

There is a lot to know about the story of the Nigerians, please watch the video to the end and find out more.
