Today 16th of June, 2020, the atmosphere is filled with joy because of passing out of the 2019/2020 Batch B stream 2 Corp members. The passing out program is currently going on in all the states of the federation except Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.
Certificates of National Service are been distributed to eligible Corps Members at the Local Government level.
The exercise is been carried out in a low key because of the recent pandemic. Passing out corp members were urged to observe strict discipline, orderliness, social distancing, use of facemask, hand sanitiser and proper washing of hands during the event.
The Director-General of NYSC, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim has commended the outgoing members for their patriotism and selfless service to the nation, and in particular for standing out to be counted in this period of covid 19 pandemic.
He equally admonished the corps members to remain steadfast in rendering service to the nation and humanity even after they have been discharged from national service and to always remain good ambassadors of the scheme in their future endeavours.
Once again, congratulations to the Batch B2 corp members.
